Ingredients
- 1 cup Semolina
- 1/4 cup besan
- 1/3 cup Poha
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1+1/4 cup butter milk
- 2 tbsp Sev
- 2 green chilli
- 10-12 curry leaves
- 2 Lemons
- 1 tbsp sugar and salt to taste
- 1 cup coriander
- 1 tsp groundnut oil
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/4 tsp hing and 1.5 tsp eno powder
- 2 tsp red chilli powder and 1/2tsp crushed black pepper
Directions
- In a mixer , take 1 cup Semolina, less than 1/4 cup besan, 1/3 cup Poha and grind into fine powder. Then add 1/2 cup yogurt,1+1/4 cup butter milk and mix well. And keep aside for 1/2 hour.
- For the chutney, take 2 tbsp Sev, 2 green chilli, 10-12 curry leaves, juice of 1 lemon, 1 cup coriander, salt to taste, 1 tbsp sugar , water and grind to make chutney.
- In a plate, grease with oil. Take the batter and add 1 tsp groundnut oil, juice of 1 lemon, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and salt to taste and mix well. If the batter is thick, add 1/4 cup butter milk and mix well. Then add 1/4 tsp hing and 1.5 tsp eno powder and mix.
- Transfer it to the plate and sprinkle 2 tsp red chilli powder and 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper.
- Steam it for 15-20 minutes. Cut into pieces.
