Chocolate Pastry In Kadai Overloaded With Chocolate

Ingredients

 

  • 1/3 Cup sugar powder & 1/3 Cup fresh curd
  • 2.5 Tbsp oil & 1.5 Tsp cocoa powder
  • 3/4 Cup milk & 3/4 Cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 Tsp baking powder & 1/4 Tsp baking soda
  • 100 gm dark chocolate & 1/4 Cup whip cream
  • 3/4 Cup whip cream & white and dark choco chips

Directions

 

  • Whisk and mix all the wet ingredients together. Sieve the dry ingredients and mix them with the wet ingredients to prepare the cake batter. Take a cake mould , line it with Ecobake cooking paper, and transfer the cake batter into it. Place the cake mould in a preheated vessel. 
  • Bake the cake on the stove for 30 minutes on a low flame. Make chocolate ganache by melting dark chocolate using the double boiler method and adding whipped cream to it. Put the whipped cream in a bowl and beat it until stiff peaks are formed. Add some chocolate ganache to make the frosting. 
  • Once the cake is baked and cooled completely, trim the upper layer of it and slice it into three layers. Place a layer of cake sponge on the cake board and soak it with sugar syrup. Apply frosting and spread it uniformly. Repeat the same procedure with the middle and top layers of the cake.
  • Trim the edges and cut the cake into two equal halves. Apply chocolate ganache to one half of it and garnish with dark and white chocolate chips. Repeat the same for the other half of the cake.
