Lunchbox Cake Without Oven

Try this trending lunchbox cake recipe at home. You only need a few number of ingredients that are easily available in your kitchen to make this yummy pineapple cake with pink glaze. Ecobake helps in getting the perfect shape for your cake without any greasing and no need for cleaning afterwards.

Ingredients

 

  • Maida – 5 spoons & Sugar – 3 spoons
  • Baking powder – 2 pinches & Baking soda – 1 pinch
  • Oil – 2 spoons, Milk – 12 spoons & Pineapple essence – 1/4th spoon
  • Sugar – 2 spoons & Milk powder – 2 spoons
  • Maida – 1 spoon & Water – 7 spoons
  • Butter – ½ tsp & Pink gel colour – 1 drop + 1 drop
  • Rice balls & Edible butter fly

Directions

 

  • Mix and whisk the dry ingredients. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients to make the cake batter. Take a ceramic cup that will fit into the disposable lunch box. Line it with Ecobake cooking paper and transfer the cake batter to it.
  • Bake the cake for 15 minutes in a preheated vessel on the stove. Meanwhile, make the pink glaze by mixing sugar, maida, milk powder and water. Heat this mixture in a pan until it thickens.
  • Strain the liquid and add 1 drop of pink food gel and mix well. Add 1 more drop of pink food gel to make the pink glaze. Demould the cake and place it on a wire stand. Pour the pink glaze over the cake, covering all sides.
  • Place the cake on a piece of Ecobake cooking paper and decorate it with rice balls. Place an edible butterfly on the cake and keep it inside the lunch box along with the Ecobake cooking paper.
