Crispy Chocolate Croissant | Without oven

A croissant is a type of pastry, classically made with puff pastry dough so that it is light, flaky, and extremely buttery. This recipe of chocolate croissant is very tasty and can be made without an oven. Enjoy this yummy and crispy croissant at your home.

Ingredients

 

  • 1.5 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp dry yeast
  • 2 cups maida
  • Salt
  • Oil and Butter
  • Dark chocolate
  • Milk

Directions

 

  • Take 1/2 cup of lukewarm water, add 1.5 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp dry yeast and mix well. Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • In a bowl, take 2 cups maida, 1/2 tsp salt. Now pour the activated yeast to this and Knead and make dough. Add oil 1 tbsp and knead again. Cover plastic wrap and rest for 30 min.
  • After 30 minutes, knead again. Cut into small equal portions. Make small dough balls with each portion. Roll each ball and make thin layer.
  • Place layers on top of each other. Apply butter and add layers. Roll and make a slightly thick layer and cut into equal pieces.
  • Take one piece and make a small cut. Place a piece of dark chocolate and fold and roll properly. Seal edges properly.
  • Place Oddy Ecobake baking and cooking paper on a plate and place the raw crossiants. Cover and rest for 10 min and brush them with milk.
  • Place plate in preheated kadhai and bake at low flame for 30 minutes. Remove after 30 minutes and yummy crossiants are ready.
