Oats Dates Cake Recipe | No Maida, Sugar, oil or Condensed Milk

Ingredients

 

  • 1/2 Cup curd
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 3/4 cup powder sugar
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1+1/4 cup maida
  • 1/4 Cup chopped dryfruits

Directions

 

  • In a bowl, take ¾ dates (10-12 pieces) and add 1+1/4 cup medium hot milk, soak it for 15-20 minutes.
  • Then take 1 medium size banana and soaked dates milk mixture and add ¼ cup ghee and blend it well. Transfer into a bowl & keep it aside. Now take ½ oats and grind it well.
  • Add ½ tsp vanilla essence ½ cup wheat flour, 1/2 cup oats powder add ½ tsp baking powder & ¼ tsp baking soda and sieve it. Take 2 tsp cocoa powder and 2 tsp water and make the mixture and add to bowl.
  • Then add ¼ cup chopped walnuts and almond and mix well until its turns into a smooth texture. Pour the mixture in baking tin lined with Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper circles and bake in preheated oven at 180C at 40-45 minutes.
  • You can cook in preheated pot/kadai for 10 minutes or bake it for 60-65 minutes on low flame
  • Take it out and let it cool down. Then demould it and the cake is ready to serve.
