Chocolate Modak

About the Recipe

Chocolate modak is a tasty variation of modak made chocolate. This recipe is made during festive seasons. Do give this recipe a try during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Ecobake can be used to pack and store Chocolate Modaks.

Ingredients

 

  • Dark chocolate - 50 gm
  • Milk Chocolate - 100 gm
  • Butter / ghee - 1 tsp
  • Almond - 30-35
  • Modak mould
  • Chocolate Wrappers - as needed
  • Wrapper tie - as needed
  • Mithai boxes Or Potali bags - for packing

Directions

 

  • Add almonds into the pan and roast them on low to medium flame for 4-5 mins. Crush all the roasted almonds properly.
  • Take chopped dark chocolate and milk chocolate into a bowl. Melt them together by using double boiling method. Or you can melt them together by using oven or microwave.
  • Add crushed almonds to melted chocolate. And mix them well. Let it cool down completely at room temperature. Pour this chocolate mixture into the modak mould.
  • Tap the mould properly. Keep this mould into the fridge for 1/2 hour.
  • Demould all the modak and wrap them using Oddy Ecobake. Pack these chocolate modak in mithai boxes or potali bags.
