Make Tres Leches Thandai Cake at Home

Try this Les Treches Thandai cake at home with easily available ingredients. This Thandai tres leches is a vibrant and flavorful cake. For this thandai tres leches, we can make our own thandai powder, which will enhance the taste of this dessert. Ingredients

 

  • Butter – 50 gm & Condensed milk – 200 gm
  • Maida – 1 cup, Powdered sugar – ¼ cup & Milk – 1 cup
  • Almond powder – ¼ cup & Thandai masala – 3 tbsp
  • Baking soda – ½ tsp & Baking powder – 1 tsp
  • 1 cup milk + ¼ cup condensed milk
  • ¼ cup fresh cream & 1/3 cup thandai milk

Directions

 

  • Mix condensed milk and butter in a mixing bowl and sieve the dry ingredients into it. Add milk to the same bowl to prepare the cake batter.
  • Preheat a vessel with a stand on it for 5 minutes. Transfer the cake batter into an 8-inch cake mould by lining it with brown Oddy Ecobake. Bake the cake for 25 minutes by placing it in the preheated vessel.
  • Prepare Trees Leches by mixing milk, condensed milk, fresh cream, and thandai milk in a mixing bowl. Once the cake is baked and cooled, make holes with a fork in it and pour the Tres Leches on the cake.
  • Freeze the cake for 4 to 5 hours for it to set. Once the cake is set, take a piping bag and add yellow, green, and red food colours on the sides. Transfer the whipped cream to the piping bag to frost the cake.
  • Frost the cake using a piping bag and set the cake for another 4 to 5 hours. Then garnish the Tres Leches thandai cake with chopped pista or saffron strands and enjoy.
