Low Carb Flax Seed Roti With Zero Oil

About the Recipe

Try this weight loss roti made with flax seeds for your next meal. This flaxseed roti is low in carbohydrates and high in fiber. Ecobake cooking paper helps in flattening the roti without it sticking to the board. You don’t need any oil to make this flaxseed roti.

Ingredients

 

  • Flax seeds - 1/4 cup
  • Hot water - 1/4 cup
  • Salt

Directions

 

  • Grind flax seeds into a fine powder in a mixer jar. Add 1/4 cup of hot water to the flax seed powder and mix well using a fork. 
  • Allow it to rest for a few minutes before forming it into a dough. Divide the dough into equal parts and make it into a round ball. 
  • Take Ecobake cooking paper and place the dough on it. Place another Ecobake cooking paper on the dough and flatten it using a rolling pin. 
  • Cook both sides of the roti on a tawa for 2 to 3 minutes and enjoy. You can have this roti with a cup of curd or any sabzi of your choice.
