Chocolate Pan Cakes

Chocolate Pan Cake is an easy-to-prepare chocolate recipe. It is a slightly different version from regular pancakes, and is super delicious and melts in the mouth easily.  For easy and smooth removal from the pan without breaking the shape, try Oddy Ecobake papers. No need for ghee or oil greasing, get perfectly baked pancakes without breaking the shape.

Ingredients

 

  • 1/2 Cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 Cup sugar powder
  • 1.5 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 Cup milk
  • 1 Tbsp oil and 1 pinch soda
  • Chocolate frosting, coloured sprinkles and melted chocolate

Directions

 

  • In a bowl, take 1/2 cups all purpose flour. Add to it 1/4 cup sugar powder, 1.5 tbsp cocoa powder and mix well all the ingredients.
  • Next gradually add 1/2 cup milk and keep mixing slowly. Keep whisking to give it a good mix.
  • After it is nicely mixed, then add 1 tbsp oil. Give it a good mix and make sure there are no lumps. Next add a pinch of soda and mix again. Your smooth bater is ready.
  • Next use Oddy Ecobake papers. Cut & place in a pan, greesing with oil/ghee is not needed when Oddy Ecobake is used. Pour batter onto the paper in the pan. Cover & bake at low flame for 2 mins.
  • Remove from pan and remove the Oddy Ecobake. Next apply chocolate frosting in the centre and fold the pancake into half. Apply more frosting on the edges and smooth out the surface. Next add colourful sprinkes. Granish with melted chocolate. Chocolate pan cake is ready to serve.
