High Protein Warm Salad Recipe

Today, we’ll demonstrate how to make a warm salad meal packed with protein. This recipe is unique, tasty, and nutritious. Utilizing the Ecobake cooking paper circle to stop air from entering the strainer, aids in the preparation of sprouted moong dal.

Ingredients

 

  • Oil - 1 tbsp, Cumin seeds - 1 tsp & Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Moong dal - 200gms, Paneer - 200 gm, Salt & Black pepper
  • Boiled Chana - 1 cup, Boiled Rajma - 1 cup & Boiled Peanuts - 2 tbsp
  • Onion - 1 chopped, Tomato - 1 chopped & Green chilli - 1 chopped
  • Chopped corainder leaves & Lemon juice from 1 whole lemon

Directions

 

  • Wash and soak moong dal in water for 4 to 5 hours. Once the moong dal is soaked, strain the water and rinse it with fresh water once again.
  • Place the moong dal in a strainer with a bowl underneath and cover with Ecobake cooking paper to prevent air from passing through.
  • Place this strainer and bowl in a humid place and leave them there for 8 to 12 hours. You can sprinkle some water on the moong after 4 to 5 hours of keeping it there.
  • After 8 to 12 hours, sprouts will be formed on the moong. Rinse it again with fresh water. Take a kadai, heat 1 tbsp of oil, add cumin seeds and turmeric powder and saute them well.
  • Add the sprouted moong dal, boiled chana, boiled rajma and peanuts to the kadai and warm them for 2 minutes. Add salt and black pepper to the salad and mix well.
  • Once the ingredients are heated, transfer them to a mixing bowl, add chopped tomatoes, onions, green chillies, coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Squeeze the juice from 1 lemon and give everything a good mix. Your warm salad is ready to be served.
