Ingredients

  • Cake premix – 1.5 cup & Water – ¾ cup
  • Whipped cream – 1.5 cups & Butterscotch syrup
  • Choco chips & Strawberry crush
  • Grated pistachios & sugar syrup
  • Peach, Ruby, and Green food gel
  • Cookies, Neutral gel & White food gel
  • Heart shaped sprinkle & Golden butterfly for decoration

Directions

  • Prepare the cake batter by mixing the cake premix with water. Transfer the cake batter into a 5-inch cake mould lined with brown Ecobake cooking paper. Bake the cake for 20 to 25 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 °C.
  • Once the cake is baked and cooled, divide it into four equal parts. Place the first layer of the cake on a cake board and apply water or sugar syrup. Apply and spread whipped cream on it.
  • Apply and spread butterscotch crush on the cream and sprinkle a handful of choco chips on it. Place the second layer of cake on top, sprinkle some water on it and apply whipped cream to it.
  • Spread the whipped cream, apply the strawberry crush on it, and sprinkle some choco chips on it. Place the third layer of cake on top and apply whipped cream to it. Add chopped pistachios to the whipped cream and add choco chips on top of it.
  • Place the fourth layer on it and cover it with whipped cream. Cover the sides and top of the cake with whipped cream and level it with the help of a cake level. Add a few drops of peach gel using a card at the bottom of the cake.
  • Spread it on all sides as shown for 1/3rd of the cake. Similarly, add and spread ruby/pink and green food gel on the sides of the cake to cover the remaining cake. Mix ruby and white food gel in neutral gel.
  • Make a drip pattern on the sides of the cake using this gel. Apply and spread the same pink neutral gel on the top of the cake. Take a few cookies and make rossettes on them using N1(Peach cream), N2(Pink cream) and N7(Green cream) nozzles.
  • Place them on the top of the cake using skewers. Decorate the cake with heart sprinkles and a golden butterfly as shown. Our beautiful cassata cake is ready.
