Ingredients

  • Chocolate cake premix- 150 g & Water-1/3 cup +1 tbsp
  • Oil-1.5 tbsp & Dark chocolate compound-3/4 cup
  • Milk-1/3 cup & Chilled whipping cream-1 cup
  • Powdered sugar-2 tbsp & Sugar syrup: 2 tbsp sugar + 1/3 cup of water
  • Grated dark chocolate-50 g & Golden sugar balls
  • Edible gold dust & Hot whipping cream-1/3 cup
  • Closed star shaped nozzle & Golden sugar balls
  • Oddy Ecobake Brown.

Directions

  • Take the chocolate cake premix, water, and oil in a bowl and whisk well to make a smooth batter. Line a baking pan with Oddy Ecobake Brown. Pour the batter into the baking pan and tap well.
  • Cover and preheat a vessel with a wire stand in it for 10 minutes. Bake the cake for 40–45 minutes on a low flame. Let it cool, then unmold it after it has completely cooled.
  • Melt chopped dark chocolate in milk to make chocolate ganache. Add whipping cream and powdered sugar to a bowl and beat until you get stiff peaks. Add a portion of chocolate ganache to it and beat it to make chocolate cream.
  • Scrape the top layer of cake and cut the cake into three layers. Place a layer of cake on the cake board, moisten with sugar syrup, and apply chocolate cream. Repeat the process for the remaining layers.
  • Frost the cake with chocolate cream and even the surface using a scraper. Create swirls on the side using a cake comb. Melt dark chocolate using the double boiler method. Pour this into a silicone mini chocolate mould.
  • Refrigerate for 10 minutes. Take the mini chocolates out of mould and dust with edible gold dust. Take chocolate ganache in a bowl and mix it with hot whipping cream. Pour this on the cake, covering it and smoothen using a cake comb.
  • Fill chocolate cream in a piping bag and use a closed star-shaped nozzle to decorate the top of the cake and sides as shown. Decorate with mini chocolates and golden sugar balls as shown.
