New Trick Red Velvet Cake Decoration

This red velvet cake is made from cake premix and decorated in a unique way using an iron box. If tasted once, this will remain your family’s favourite. A must-try recipe for special occasions and parties. Bake the cake on the stove in a baking pan that comes off effortlessly, thanks to Oddy Ecobake, which is convenient, reusable, and reduces your effort in cleaning.

Ingredients

 

  • Red velvet cake premix & Cold whipping cream -1+1/3 cup
  • Neutral gel & Super red gel food colour
  • Piping bag & Sugar syrup: 2 tbsp sugar+ 1/3 cup water
  • Red and yellow gel food colour & Neutral gel
  • Flower nail & Sunflower nozzle
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Line a baking pan with Oddy Ecobake. Make red velvet cake from premix. Transfer the batter into a baking pan and bake for 50 minutes on a high flame. Unmould it after it has completely cooled.
  • Divide the cake into three parts. Beat whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Place a layer of cake on the cake board, moisten the cake with sugar syrup, and apply whipping cream on it. Repeat the process for other layers.
  • Cover the cake with frosting and smooth it using a card and spatula. Take neutral gel in a bowl, add water and red gel to it, and mix. Fill it in a piping bag and decorate the cake evenly, spreading it with a spatula.
  • Clean the base of an iron box and press on the sides of the cake using it as shown. Mix whipping cream with yellow and red food colour and transfer it into a piping bag with a sunflower nozzle.
  • Make a flower on the flower nail, layer by layer as shown, and place it in the center of the cake using a spatula. Decorate the border with yellow cream.
  • Decorate around the flower with green cream and a piping bag cut in the shape of a "v" as shown. Decorate the center of the flower with choco chips.
