Oreo Buttercream Cupcakes

About the Recipe

Oreo Buttercream Cupcake is one bake recipe. It required very less time in whole preparation and baking. Before baking in a cookie tray, line the tray with Oddy Ecobake. It eliminates the need for greasing the baking tray and there is no need for cleanup of the pan.

Ingredients

 

  • 1 + 3/4 Cup all purpose flour 210 grm
  • 3/4 Cup powdered sugar 150 grm, 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt, 250 ml lukewarm water, 1/3 cup oil
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence plus 1/2 tsp coffee essence
  • crushed Oreo cookies 4-5
  • 50 gram butter or margarine, 100 gram icing sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk, Oreo cookies powder

Directions

 

  • In a bowl, place a sieve. Add maida, powdered sugar, baking powder, salt. Sieve all dry ingredients together. Add lukewarm water and oil and mix thoroughly.
  • Add vanilla essence + chocolate (or coffee essence) and mix. Add crushed 4-5 oreo biscuits. With cut and fold method mix the crushed cookies and batter together. Don't overmix it.
  • Take a cookie baking tray. Line it with Oddy Ecobake. Fill the cupcake till 3/4th level and tap the tray. Bake it at 170 degree celsius for 12-15 mins.
  • For frosting, take butter or margarine and mix it with icing powdered, milk and oreo biscuit powder. Beat it well to make frosting cream.
  • Add the frosting in a piping bag with M1 nozzle. Make a regular design on the cupcakes. Sprinkle oreo biscuit powder.
