Ingredients

  • Vanilla cake premix - 300 gm & Water - 3/4 cup
  • Mango essence - 1/2 tsp & Oil - 3tbsp
  • Whipping cream - 1.5 cups & Mango crush
  • Sugar syrup, Sugar - 2 tbsp & Corn flour - 1 tbsp
  • Water - 3/4 cup, Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
  • Red food gel - few drops, Neutral gel - 1 tbsp
  • Water - 1.5 tbsp & Yellow and Green food gel
  • Silver Sugar sprinkles & Oddy Ecobake

Directions

  • Prepare cake batter by mixing cake premix with oil, mango essence, and water. Transfer the cake batter into a cake mould lined with Oddy Ecobake. Bake the cake for 40 minutes in an oven at 165 degrees C. Once the cake is baked and cooled, trim the top of the cake.
  • Then divide the cake into three equal parts. Beat whipping cream in a bowl and beat it until stiff peaks are formed. Place the first cake layer on the cake board, soak it with chocolate sugar syrup, and apply whipped cream and mango crush.
  • Now repeat the same process for the second and third layers of the cake. Frost the cake completely with the cream and level it using a cake scraper and spatula. Make a swirl pattern on the cake using a cake comb or oil brush.
  • Prepare the neutral gel by mixing sugar and cornflour with water and heating them in a pan. Add the red food gel to the neutral gel once it is cooled. Make rosettes with yellow cream using a rose petal nozzle. Arrange them on one half of the cake.
  • Make a leaf design besides the roses with green cream. Apply the neutral red gel on the other side of the cake and spread it using a spatula. Make drips on the sides of the cake with neutral red gel. Garnish the cake with silver sugar sprinkles as shown.
