Murmura Bars

About the Recipe

Make these simple and delectable murmura bars, which require less than 10 minutes to prepare, if you’re craving something sweet on a cold winter evening. Puffed rice, melted jaggery, and flax and pumpkin seeds are used to make the murmura bars. With the help of Oddy Uniwraps, which are reusable, non-stick, and grease-proof, they are neatly set and cut into bars.

Ingredients

 

  • Murmura or puffed rice
  • Jaggery
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Flax seeds
  • Oddy Uniwraps

Directions

 

  • Melt jaggery in a pan until it melts completely.
  • Add the cleaned puffed rice to it gradually and stir well on a low flame until they mix together.
  • Spread it on a tray lined with Oddy Uniwraps.
  • Press with a ladle to set well. Sprinkle pumpkin seeds and flax seeds on it when it's hot and press well.
  • Refrigerate for just 5 minutes and let it set. Cut it into blocks. The tasty murmura bars are ready.
