Soft and Spongy Butterscotch Cake

About the Recipe

Try this spongy and soft butterscotch cake that can be made with just a handful of ingredients. You do not need eggs or an oven to bake this cake. Oddy Ecobake allows you to bake the cake in perfect shape and easily demolish it without having to grease the mold.

Ingredients

 

  • Curd - 1/2 cup & Oil - 1/4 cup
  • Powdered sugar - 3/4 cup & Milk - 1 cup
  • Lemon - 1/4 & Maida - 1.5 cups
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp & Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • White chocolate - 200gm & Milk - 1/4 cup
  • Praline & Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Mix curd, oil, milk, and lemon juice in a bowl. Add maida, powdered sugar, baking soda, and baking powder through a sieve to the same bowl.
  • Give everything a good mix to prepare the cake batter. Transfer the batter to a mould lined with Oddy Ecobake. Bake the cake in a preheated kadai for 40 minutes.
  • Once the cake is baked and cooled, demold it. Prepare white chocolate ganache by melting chopped white chocolate and milk.
  • Make holes in the cake with a skewer or toothpick. Pour the melted chocolate over the cake and garnish it with praline. Your butterscotch cake is ready!
