Protein Idlies for Weightloss

This is a high-protein breakfast recipe made of moong dal. You can replace the regular idlies with these moong dal idlies when you are trying to lose weight. Oddy Ecobake allows you to steam moong dal idlies without having to grease the steaming plate. It also makes it easier to remove the idlies from the steaming plate.

Ingredients

 

  • Moong dal wash- 1 cup 7 Paneer- 100 gm
  • Capsicum green - 1 small 7 Onion-1 small
  • Corn-2 tbsp, Green peas- 2 tbsp & Oddy Ecobake
  • Green coriander- 2 tbsp 7 Salt- to taste
  • Eno salt- 5 gm (1 tsp) & Black pepper- 1 tsp

Directions

 

  • Wash and soak the moong dal in water for 1 hour. Remove excess water and grind it in a mixer jar. Add water as needed.
  • Grind them to a not-so-thick batter. Transfer the batter to a bowl, add the chopped vegetables and masalas to it, and mix well.
  • Add eno and a little water to the batter and mix well. Pour the batter into the idli moulds lined with Oddy Ecobake.
  • Cook the idlis for 10 to 15 minutes. Once they are cooked, remove them from the mold. Your high protein moong dal idlies are ready!
