Aloo Ki Kachori

 

About the Recipe

Aloo ki kachori is a well-known North Indian street food recipe that is especially well-liked in Uttar Pradesh and Agra. It is made of boiling potatoes, herbs, and is stuffed inside a flat rolled wheat flour dough. They go well with green chutney or tomato ketchup. Ingredients

 

  • Whole wheat flour-3 to 4 cups & Salt-1 tsp
  • Carom seeds-1 tsp & Ghee-1 tsp
  • Water or whey water & Boiled potatoes-6 to 7 (small)
  • Grated ginger garlic-1 tbsp & Onion-1
  • Salt & Garam masala
  • Oddy Uniwraps

Directions

 

  • Take wheat flour in a mixing plate and add salt, carom seeds and ghee to it and crumble well.
  • Add water to it gradually and make it into a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
  • Grate boiled potatoes into a plate, then add grated ginger garlic, chopped onions, coriander leaves, green chilies chopped, salt, garam masala to it and combine everything well to make potato filling.
  • Take the dough, pinch small balls from it and roll it flat, place the filling inside, pleat and roll again flat slightly thick.
  • Fry in hot oil on a medium flame until they cook well on both sides. Aloo ki kachori is ready. Pack it in Oddy Uniwraps for your lunch box. Serve aloo ki kachori with tomato chutney.
