Beginner-Friendly Cake Using a Pan

Are you a beginner and looking to bake a cake without using cake molds and electric beaters? With this recipe, you can learn how to bake a simple cake in a pan in 10 minutes and how to decorate it. With the help of Oddy Ecobake, you can get the perfect shape for your cake without greasing the mold.

Ingredients

 

  • Sugar - 1.5tbsp, Milk - 1/4cup & Chocolate Essence - 1/4tsp
  • Refined Oil - 1tbsp, Maida - 1/4th cup & Milk powder - 2tbsp
  • Cocoa powder - 1.5tbsp & Baking powder - 1/4tsp
  • Baking soda - 1/8tsp & Dark Chocolate - 2tbsp
  • Biscuits - 3nos, Strawberry compound - 50gms & Oddy Ecobake
  • Fresh cream - 1/3rd cup + 1/4 cup & Dark Chocolate - 1/4cup

Directions

 

  • Mix the wet ingredients in a bowl. Add the dry ingredients to the bowl through a sieve. Mix them well to prepare the cake batter.
  • Add the grated dark chocolate and crumbled biscuits to the cake batter at the end and give them a good mix.
  • Line a pan with Oddy Ecobake. Transfer the cake batter to the pan. Preheat a tawa for 5 minutes and place the pan on the tawa to bake the cake.
  • Once the cake is completely baked and cooled, remove the top. Melt dark chocolate in hot cream and drizzle it over the top of the cake once it has cooled to room temperature.
  • Freeze the pan for 15 to 20 minutes in the refrigerator for the ganache to set. Meanwhile, melt grated strawberry compound in hot cream.
  • Apply it to the cake once the ganache is completely set. Decorate the cake with grated chocolate and vanilla glaze as shown.
