Burfi With Just One Spoon of Ghee

Make this smooth and delicious burfi with just one spoon of ghee. The major ingredients required to make this burfi are grated coconut, fried gram, and sugar. Ecobake helps in setting the burfi and getting the perfect shape without any greasing and no need for cleaning afterwards.

Ingredients

 

  • Coconut Gratings (Desiccated or Fresh) - 1 Cup
  • Fried Gram - 1 cup & Cardamom – 2
  • Sugar - 1.5 cup & Ghee - 1 spoon
  • Water & Silver wark

Directions

 

  • Grind fried gram and 2 cardamom pods to a fine powder in a mixer jar. Bring sugar and 1/2 cup water to a boil in a pan until it reaches a syrup consistency.
  • Add grated coconut and fried gram powder to the sugar syrup and mix well. Continue stirring it until the mixture thickens. Add 1 spoon of ghee to the mixture and give it a stir until the mixture starts leaving the pan, leaving ghee behind.
  • Now transfer the mixture to a tray lined with Ecobake cooking trays and let the sweet set for some time. Once it sets, cut the burfi into pieces, and apply silver work on it.
