About the Recipe

Easy to make and simple, you can try these recipes for Ramadan. You can also try this for breakfast or in evening snacks, it is made out of bread and takes comparatively less time. You can easily store these, which makes them come handy at the surprise visits of your loved ones.

  • Boiled potato-500gm
  • Coriander-1/4 cup
  • Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Rice-1/2 cup
  • Bread
  • Paneer-60gm
  • Dry fruits-¼ cup
  • Sev

  • Cumin powder-¼ tsp
  • Salt
  • Chat masala-¼ tsp
  • Ghee-2 tbsp
  • Oil
  • Sweet curd
  • Green chutney
  • Tamarind chutney
  • Onion & Tomato

Directions

 

  • For the first recipe take ½ kg of potatoes and mash them using a fork or masher. Add chopped coriander, pepper powder, salt and ½ cup of rice flour. Mix them properly.
  • Take bread slices and slice off their borders, now apply a spoonful of mashed potato mixture to them and set it aside. Do the same for all the slices.
  • Take a pan, add 2 tbsp ghee and fry the pieces. Cut them into pieces and transfer into a bowl, add chutney and sauces and enjoy your special homemade chaat.
  • Now for the second recipe to prepare stuffing, take 60gm of grated cottage cheese and add some chopped dry fruits, jeera powder, chaat masala and some salt. Mix them well.
  • Take the mixture of mashed potato that we made in the first recipe and fill it with the stuffing we made, as shown in the video.
  • Similarly fry these pieces, till they get light brown shade.
  • To store, you can wrap these in Oddy Uniwraps food wrapping paper and use later.
  • When needed, take them out from the freezer and fry them again, after that transfer them into a bowl and add fresh curd with chutneys and sauce, ans your recipe is ready to serve.
