About the Recipe
Chocolate Truffle cake is a very budget-friendly cake. It uses ingredients that are say on the pocket but rich in taste. Use Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper Circles to bake cakes. It helps in the easy removal of cake. It is non-sticky, and heat-resistant forward.

Ingredients
- 1.5 Cup Maida (180 gm), 1 cup Sugar (200 gm)
- 1 Tsp Baking Soda, 1/4th Cup Cocoa Powder (30gm)
- 1/2 tsp Salt, 1 Cup Boiling Water (240)ml
- 1Tsp Coffee, 60 Grm or 90 ml oil, 3 Tsp Vinegar
- Dark Chocolate 100 gm, 60 gm Whipping Cream

Directions
- Boil one cup of water, add 1 tsp coffee powder, 60 gm oil and 3 tsp vinegar. Bring all the ingredients together to a boil.
- After a boil, remove from flame and let it cool. In another bowl, place a sieve and strain 1.5 cup maida, 1 cup powdered sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa powder, a pinch of salt, 1 tsp baking soda.
- To the dry ingredients, add the cooled coffee mixture. Mix and whisk the ingredients well to form a lump free smooth batter.
- Then add 1 tsp vanilla essence and mix again. Take a cake tin and line it with Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper Circles. Pour the batter evenly and tap the tin to release air. Bake it at 180 degree temperature for 30-35 mins.
- In the meanwhile, melt 100 gm dark chocolate and add to it 60 gm whipping cream. Mix it weel and keeit it in fridge for 10 mins. Remove from fridge and beat the chocolate mixture with beater.
- It will change color to light brown and turns fluffy. Now take the baked cake and cut off the top layer. Now cover the entire cake with the chocolate ganache with help of a palette knife.
- Even the sides with a card scraper. Now turn the cake top table and with a help of palette knife, create a swirl patter on the cake (both top and sides).
- With help of star nozzle, create roses and small designs on one side of the cake as shown in video. Create a zigzag design with chocolate ganache and sprinkle some golden sugar balls on the cake for decoration. .
