Coconut Roll Recipe With Biscuits

Ingredients

 

  • Poppy seeds-2-3 tbsp
  • Milk-1/2 ,1/4 cup
  • Coconut powder-1/2 cup
  • Milk Powder-1/2 ,1/4 cup
  • Sugar-1/2 cup
  • Cardamom green -5-6
  • Biscut-25-30 pieces

Directions

 

  • Roast 2 tbsp of poppy seeds on a low flame for 2 to 3 minutes and let them cool down.
  • Boil 1/2 cup of milk in a pan, then add 1/2 cup of coconut powder. Once the coconut powder absorbs the milk, add 1/4 cup of milk powder. Now a thick dough will be formed.
  • Transfer this coconut and milk powder dough to a bowl and let it cool down. Once the dough reaches room temperature, add 1/2 cup of sugar and green cardamom powder to it.
  • Take Ecobake cooking 'n' baking paper, place some part of the coconut mix dough on it and roll it up. Freeze this roll for 10 minutes in the fridge. This is going to be the inner part of the coconut roll.
  • Take 25 to 30 biscuits of your choice(avoid cream biscuits) and grind them to a fine powder. Add 1/4 cup of chilled milk and milk powder to the powder and make a dough out of it.
  • Place the biscuit powder dough on the Ecobake cooking paper and spread it such that it takes a rectangular shape. Set the edges and trim the edges. Now place the stuffing on the outer layer.
  • Move the stuffing to the side, cover and roll using the Ecobake cooking paper. Add poppy seeds to the roll and transfer it to a plate. Freeze the roll for 15 to 20 minutes. 
  • Now take a knife, dip it in hot water, clean it, and cut the coconut roll into slices after taking it from the refrigerator.
