Custard Ice cream

About the Recipe

Easy to make custard ice cream with crunchy nuts on each bite makes this a genuinely great dessert. Oddy uniwraps is used to cover the ice cream mixture before freezing to prevent the formation of ice crystals. Oddy Uniwraps is eco-friendly and reheatable.

Ingredients

 

  • ½ liter full fat milk
  • 2 tbsp Vanilla Custard powder
  • 1/4th cup sugar
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • Liquid yellow color
  • Chopped almonds
  • Chopped cashew nuts
  • Chopped pistachios
  • Tutti fruity

Directions

 

  • Take some cold milk in a bowl and add custard powder and mix well. Take the rest of the milk in a bowl and cook in low flame. Add the custard mixture and simultaneously keep on stirring. Add sugar and mix well.
  • Keep on stirring till the mixture boils and thickens. Let it cool down. And keep it in the fridge for chilling.
  • Take chilled whipping cream and beat with a beater. The whipping cream should be chilled for a softer cream. Add the custard mixture in whipping cream, mix well and beat with a beater.
  • Transfer the mixture in a bowl and wrap the top layer with Oddy Uniwraps. Oddy Uniwraps is eco-friendly and helps to eliminate the formation of ice crystals. Now cover with the lid and keep it in freezer for 3 hours.
  • Remove and beat it again with a beater. Add chopped nuts and tutti fruity. Transfer it into a container and add nuts and tutti fruity again. Cover it again with Oddy Uniwraps and cover the lid. Keep it in freezer for 7-8 hours.
