Delightful Marble Effect Cake

 

About the Recipe

This pineapple cake with a marble effect is delectable and appealing too. This is the ideal go-to recipe for a birthday or anniversary. To give the cake a marbled appearance, white chocolate compound, flour, and a few drops of food coloring are added to make the ganache. The cake is baked in an Oddy Ecobake-lined baking pan because it is chlorine-free and bleach-free and hence safe to use.

Ingredients

 

  • Vanilla cake premix-1.5 cups & Sunflower Oil-2 tbsp
  • Water-1/2 + ¼ cup & Pineapple essence
  • Chilled whipping cream-1 cup & Sugar syrup: Sugar + water
  • All-purpose flour-1 tbsp & Sugar-4 tbsp
  • Milk powder-2 tbsp & Water-3/4 cup
  • White chocolate compound & Oil- 1 tbsp
  • Butter-1 tbsp & Vanilla essence- ½ tsp
  • Pink and yellow gel food colour-2 drops & White gel food colour-2 drops
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Mix together vanilla cake premix, oil, and pineapple essence along with water gradually to make a smooth batter. Line a 6-inch baking pan with Oddy Ecobake. Transfer the batter to it, spread it out, and tap it well.
  • Bake the cake for 40 minutes at 160 degrees Celsius in a preheated oven. Unmould after cooling completely. The cake sponge is ready.
  • Beat whipping cream in a bowl until fluffy. Divide the cake into three layers. Apply cream to the cake board and place a layer of cake; soak with sugar syrup; spread cream and pineapple crush on it uniformly on each layer.
  • Repeat the process for other layers, too. Frost the cake with cream, and then coat it with cream uniformly. Smooth using a spatula. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Mix together all-purpose flour, sugar, milk powder, and water in a pan and then heat until they melt and come to a boil. Then add oil, butter, and vanilla essence to it and mix well until it comes to a ganache consistency.
  • Strain it through a strainer when warm, then add food colours and pour it on the cake taken out of the fridge to create a marble effect. Then give the ganache a mix and pour it on the cake.
  • Decorate with whipped cream as shown on the bottom of the cake. Place golden balls on the top as shown. Place a "Happy Birthday" tag. The marble-effect birthday cake is ready to be cut.
