Dhokla

Dhokla is a popular and traditional Indian recipe originating from Gujarat. Make this yummy Dhokla at the ease of your home in a Kadhai with readily available ingredients. This recipe is made without semolina or Besan Easy to make and takes very less time. Enjoy this tasty dish.

Ingredients

 

  • 2 cups raw rice
  • 1 cup channa dal and 1 cup urad dal
  • Salt
  • Turmeric powder
  • 1 packet Eno
  • Red chilli powder
  • Oil

Directions

 

  • Take 2 cups raw rice and add 1 cup channa dal and 1 cup urad dal and wash them well. Soak them for atleast 7-8 hours.
  • Put them in a mixer and add curd and blend well. Add salt and mix well. Keep them aside for sometime. Then Add little turmeric powder and mix well.
  • Grease some oil on a plate and place Oddy Ecobake baking and cooking paper. Then add 1 packet eno to the batter and mix well.
  • Put some water in a kadhai and place the plate on it. Pour the batter on the plate to fill it completely. Then sprinkle some red chilli powder over it.
  • After 20 minutes, remove it and apply some oil over the Dhokla. Cut into pieces. Use Oddy Uniwrap to store the Dhokla for future use.
