Visually appeasing and mouthwatering Orange glazed cake without eggs, that you can make at home easily in a short span of time. You can make this for birthdays or any other occasion and this cake will be an instant hit.

Ingredients
- 2 oranges
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup refined oil
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- Salt
- 1+1/4 cup maida
- 4 tbsp milk powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 drops liquid orange food colour
- 2 tsp corn flour
- 4 tbsp sugar
- Choco chips and sprinkles.
Directions
- Line a 6 inch cake tin with Oddy ecobake cooking paper circles.
- Take 2 oranges and grate the outer peel and make 1/2 tsp orange zest.
- In a bowl, squeeze juice of 1 orange (1/4 cup approx.), add 3/4 cup powdered sugar, 1/4 cup refined oil,1/2 tsp vanilla essence, 2 pinches salt and beat for 1-2 minutes until it becomes creamy.
- Then add 1+1/4 cup maida, 4 tbsp milk powder , 1 tsp baking powder and 1/4 tsp baking soda and mix well. Add 1/2 cup milk and mix gradually. Then add the 1/2 tsp orange zest and mix well.
- Transfer the batter to the cake tin and bake on Preheated kadhai at low-medium flame for 35-40 minutes.
- Take another orange and take out 1/2 tsp orange zest and add squeezed orange juice, 1/2 cup water, 2 drops liquid orange food colour, 2 tsp corn flour, 4 tbsp sugar and mix well.
- Transfer it to a saucepan and let it boil on medium flame for 4-5 minutes. Keep stirring. Let the glaze cool down.
- Trim the upper layer of the sponge cake. Then pour the orange glaze on the top of the cake and spread evenly. Then decorate with choco chips and other sprinkles.
