Healthy & Tasty Methi Paratha

About the Recipe

Methi Paratha, a shallow fried traditional Indian flat bread prepared from fenugreek leaves, whole wheat flour and gram flour, is a healthy alternative to simple paratha and one of the best Indian breakfast recipe.  You can make at home in just 25 minutes and enjoy the yummy and delicious breakfast.

Ingredients

 

  • 1 cup wheat Flour/ atta
  • Take 1.5 garlic & ginger paste
  • 1/4 red chilli powder or 1 chopped green chilli.
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon garam masala and ajwain powder
  • 1 cup methi finely chopped methi.
  • 1 cup fresh yogurt.

Directions

 

  • Take a bowl add all the ingredients and prepare a dough
  • Keep the dough a side cover it and rest it for 25 mins
  • Divide the dough into 5 to 9 equal sizes balls..
  • Take an Ecobake sheet cut unto 2 squre sheet
  • Take one piece of ball in the middle of the sheet to avoid stickiness and add some sprinkle of flour and roll sightly and make a thick layer of methi paratha.
  • Take a tawa and preheat and toast both the sides on low flame until a slightly brown spot appears. Drizzle some ghee or oil. Press it with wooden spoon to puff it well.
  • Keep it in a Box and cover it until you serve. Enjoy the methi paratha with curd.
