Hyderabadi Special Karachi Cookies

Hyderabadi Special Karachi Style Cookie is soft and delicious, and every bite melts like butter. This is an easy, quick recipe for cookies that can be made at home. In the preparation of cookies, it is important to store the dough properly. Use Oddy Uniwrap to set the dough into a cookie texture and store it in the refrigerator before baking. Ingredients

 

  • 100 gm Amul butter, 70 gm sugar
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla powder or 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder, 150 gm maida (remove 1 tsp maida and keep aside)
  • 1/4 cup tutti fruit, 2 tbsp pista flakes ,1 tbsp maida
  • Oddy Uniwraps, Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • In a bowl, take Amul butter and sugar. Beat it with a beater, until light, fluffy and color changes to white.
  • Next add vanilla powder or vanilla essence, baking powder, maida (remove 1 tsp maida and keep aside).
  • Mix it well till everything is well combined. In another small bowl, add tutti fruit and pista flakes and 1 tbsp maida.
  • Give it a rough mix with fingers. Now mix this with cookie batter. Mix it well. If the dough is stiff, add 1 tbsp milk. Do this only if if required.
  • Now make a sof ball dough with hands and wrap it in Oddy Uniwraps. Keep it in refrigerator for 15-20 mins.
  • Once done, remove from fridge and and knead dough again. If dough is stiff and dry, add 1 tbsp milk and need again. Divide it into two parts.
  • Shape first into a roll and then flatten the sides into a square. Wrap it again in Oddy Uniwraps. Keep it in fridge for 15-20 mins.
  • Remove from fridge and slice the set dough. Cut equal pieces. On a baking tray, place Oddy Ecobake and put the cut cookie pieces.
  • Bake it at 170 degree celsius for 15-20 mins. Once done, allow it to cook. Cookies are ready to serve.
