Make This Instant Dhokla In a New and Unique Way

Nylon dhokla is an awesome Gujarati snack recipe that is made from besan. Instant nylon dhokla can be prepared in under 30 minutes. Ecobake helps in getting the perfect shape for your dhokla without the need for greasing and additional cleanup.

Ingredients

 

  • 2 cups besan & 1/3 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup lemon juice & 1 cup water
  • 2 tsp salt & ¼ tsp asafoetida
  • ¼ tsp turmeric, 1.5 tbsp oil & 2 tsp eno
  • 1 cup coriander & ¼ cup papdi
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice & 1.5 tbsp sugar
  • ½ capsicum & 1 green chilli
  • Salt to taste, ½ cup water

Directions

 

  • Grind besan, sugar, lemon juice, salt, asafoetida, turmeric, oil, and 1 cup of water in a mixer jar to make the batter. In a mixer jar, combine coriander, cup papdi, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1.5 tbsp sugar, capsicum, 1 green chili, salt to taste, and 12 cup water to make green chutney.
  • Take a large plate, line it with Ecobake cooking paper, and transfer the batter to it. Cook the dhokla batter for 15 minutes in a preheated vessel. When the dhokla is completely cooked, pour some water over it and leave it to soak for a few minutes.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the tadka by heating oil in a pan and adding mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, green chillies and sesame seeds. Cut the dhokla into pieces and add the tadka to it. Serve the dhokla by garnishing it with green chutney.
