Moist & Dense Chocolate Cake

About the Recipe

This is a dense and soft chocolate cake made without eggs. It tastes delightful and can be made with a handful of ingredients. Oddy Ecobake helps you get the perfect shape for your cake and also makes demolding the cake simple and convenient.

Ingredients

 

  • Curd - 1/2 cup & Oil - 1/4 cup
  • Powdered sugar - 2/3rd cup & Vanilla essemce - 1 tsp
  • Maida - 3/4 cup & Cocoa powder - 1/4 cup
  • Milk powder - 1/4 cup & Salt - a pinch
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp & baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  • Warm water, Choco chips & Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Add the curd, oil, and powdered sugar and mix well, along with the vanilla essence. Add the dry ingredients and pass them through a sieve.
  • Mix everything well to prepare the cake batter. Add warm water to adjust the consistency of the batter.
  • Transfer the cake batter to a mould lined with Oddy Ecobake. Add chocolate chips on top of the batter.
  • Preheat the oven for 5 minutes to 180 degrees C. Bake the cake for 40 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • Once the cake is baked and cooled, demold it. Remove the Oddy Ecobake and cut the cake into slices. Serve and enjoy!
