Murmura Nashta

In Hindi, murmura is puffed rice. A quick and rapid snack known as murmura nashta is made from puffed rice, grated boiling potatoes, and spices. You can serve it with whatever chutney you prefer. Ingredients

 

  • Puffed rice-4 cups & Water-1/2 cup & Fresh curd
  • Boiled potatoes-3 & Onion-1 & Ginger-1/2 inch
  • Green chilies-2 to 3 & Chilli flakes & Chaat masala-1/2 tsp
  • Salt-to taste & Gram flour & Oil-for frying
  • Oddy Uniwraps Brown

Directions

 

  • Soak puffed rice in water for some time. Boil, peel, and grate potatoes. Grind soaked, puffed rice into a coarse paste.
  • Then add grated potatoes, sliced onions, grated ginger, chopped green chilies, chilli flakes, cumin, chaat masala, and salt to it and combine it well along with gram flour.
  • Grease with oil and knead to form a soft batter. Pinch and make them into rolls and arrange them on a plate.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry until they become crisp and golden brown on all sides. Remove them from the oil and take them to a plate. The murmura nashta is ready.
  • Pack it in Oddy Uniwraps Brown if you are packing it for your lunch box. Serve it with your preferred chutney or sauce.
