Nankhatai Biscuits Without an Oven

About the Recipe

Your kids will love these nankhatai ghee biscuits if you make them for their evening munchies. You can bake the cookies with Oddy Ecobake without worrying about them sticking to the baking sheet. Therefore, no more cleanup is required.

Ingredients

 

  • All Purpose Flour - 1 Cup & Besan - 1/2 Cup
  • Semolina - 2 Tbsp, Salt - 1 Tsp & Oddy Ecobake
  • Baking Powder - 1 Tsp & Icing Sugar - 1 Cup
  • Desi Ghee - 1/2 Cup & Cardamom Powder - 1 Tsp

Directions

 

  • Sieve all the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix them well. Add ghee to the bowl and mix well to prepare the dough.
  • Add cardamom powder to the dough and combine well. Take small portions of the dough, give them a good shape.
  • Arrange the biscuits on a plate lined with Oddy Ecobake. Preheat a kadai for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, refrigerate the dough for 15 minutes. Bake the biscuits in the preheated kadai for 20 minutes.
  • Once they are baked, let them cool down to room temperature. You can store the nankhatai biscuits in an airtight container.
