Peculiar Chocolate Cake Decoration

If you feel that you don’t have fancy tools to make a simple designer cake, then this recipe explains how to make a chocolate cake decoration using simple tools. All you need is an A4 sheet and a piping bag. Make a perfect soft and smooth cake when the baking tray is lined with Oddy Ecobake, which is reusable and heat-resistant even when you bake the cake on a stove.

Ingredients

 

  • Chocolate cake premix & Whipping cream
  • Cake comb & 1M nozzle
  • Piping bag & Golden sugar balls
  • Dark chocolate & Rainbow sprinkles & Butter paper or A4 paper
  • Oddy Ecobake Brown.

Directions

 

  • Make cake batter using chocolate cake premix. Transfer it into a baking tray lined with Oddy Ecobake Brown. Cover and bake on a low flame for 45 minutes.
  • Unmould after it has completely cooled. Frost the cake with whipping cream. Smooth the frosting using card and make swirls using cake comb on its sides.
  • Smoothen the top using a spatula. Refrigerate the cake for 10 minutes. Crush a sheet of butter paper or grease an A4 sheet with oil and crush it. Now spread melted dark chocolate (melted using the double boiler method) using a spatula on it.
  • Refrigerate for 10 minutes and break into pieces as shown to make the chocolate rocks. Decorate the cake top with the chocolate rocks in the center.
  • Decorate with whipping cream as shown, using a 1M nozzle as flowers with golden balls in the center and sprinkle rainbow sprinkles all over the top of the cake.
  • Decorate the bottom of the cake with left-over chocolate rock pieces and whipping cream filled in a piping bag.
