Ingredients
- Curd - 1/3rd cup & Oil - 1/3rd cup
- Powdered Sugar - 3/4 cup & Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
- Milk - 1/4 cup & 2 tbsp water if needed
- All Purpose Flour - 1 + 1/4 cup
- Milk powder - 2 tbsp & Baking powder - 1 + 1/4 tsp
- Baking soda - 1/2 tsp & Cocoa powder - 1 tbsp
- Chilled Whipping Cream - 1 + 1/4 cup
- Chopped dark chocolate compound - 1/3rd cup & Milk - 3 tbsp
Directions
- Take a non-stick pan and line it with Ecobake cooking circles before transferring the cake batter. Prepare the cake batter by adding curd, oil, sugar, and vanilla essence.
- Sieve and add all the dry ingredients like maida, milk powder, baking powder, and baking soda. Whisk and mix all the ingredients. Set the batter using the cut and fold method. Add 2 tbsp of water if the batter is too thick. The cake batter must be of ribbon consistency.
- Transfer half of the cake batter into the pan. Add 1 tbsp of cocoa powder to the remaining batter in the bowl. Transfer this batter to the remaining space in the pan and cover it with a lid.
- Bake the cake by heating it at a low flame for 15 minutes on the stove. Put the chilled whip cream into a bowl and beat it with an electric beater. Beat it until the cream forms stiff peaks.
- Add 1/3rd cup of dark chocolate compound to a pan. Add milk to the dark chocolate and let it melt completely. Take two spatulas of whip cream and add some chocolate ganache to it to prepare chocolate cream
- Check if the cake is baked completely and switch off the stove. Let it cool down and cut it into small circles using a round cup or cake cutter. Frost two small cake circles with whip cream by layering them. Add strawberry crush in between the two layers.
- Add a drop of blue food gel to two spatulas of white whip cream to get sky blue colour and decorate the cake with that.
- You can make the flower designs using star shaped nozzle as shown in the video and transfer the cake into a takeaway box lined with Ecobake cooking paper.
