Spiderman Theme Cake, in Chocolate Hazelnut flavor. Try out this special cake, with no cream filling. It has a mouth-melting ganache of chocolate and hazelnut. For baking, try our Brown Oddy Ecobake for easy and hassle-free cake demolding.

Ingredients

 

  • 720 gm premix, 350 gm water, 50-60 gm oil
  • 400 gm dark compound chocolate and 200 gm whipping/Amul cream
  • 100 gm hazelnut spread and chopped roasted almonds and cashew
  • Blue shimmer, spray, Food colour (red, white, royal blue, brown)

Directions

 

  • Take an 8 inch baking cake tin and line it will Brown Oddy Ecobake paper. This is a two kg cake, line the sides as well because the batter is more in quantity and it will be a weighted cake.
  • Take 720 gm premix, 350 gm water, 50-60 gm oil and prepare the cake batter. Pour the batter evenly in the baking tin and bake it at 180 degree for 40-50 minutes.
  • Now for filling, take 400 gm dark compound chocolate and 200 gm whipping/Amul cream. Melt the chocolate add cream and prepare a nice ganashe. To add extra flour, add 100 gm hazelnut spread into the ganashe and give a nice thorough mix.
  • After baking, remove the from tin and cut off the brown sides from the cake. Cut the cake into four equal layers. Place one layer and fill it with the chocolate ganashe.
  • As a filing, you can place chopped roasted almonds and cashew. If the ganashe thickns, then warm the ganashe in microwave for a few seconds or melt it again on double boiler. Then do the same with remaining layers. Then coat the entire cake with a layer of the remaining ganashe.
  • Lastly with blue cream, coat the outer part with a thin layer of royal blue cream. Even out the surface with a pallette knife and give it sides a texture with triangle scrapper. Now coat the entire cake with blue shimmer with the help of a spray.
  • Take a red colour cream and make three patches on the cake in random way . some on the top and some on the sides. With the help of a card scrapper, even out the patch. The take white cream in a piping bag and create a spiders web across the cake, near the red patches on the sides as well.
  • Next is take a brown liquid mixed with very little water and create a wall effect on the red patched. Make small vertical and horizontal lines. Now place paper spiderman and happy birthday toppers on the cake.
