Vanilla Cake With a Twist

About the Recipe

If you are planning to make a cake for any special occasion but want to add some twist to it, then make this cake with Gulab jamun mix, maida, and sugar. It is made on the stove quickly and easily. All you need to do is use the exact measurements as mentioned. Ingredients

 

  • Gulab Jamun powder-1 cup & Wheat flour or All- purpose flour (Maida)-1 cup
  • Powdered sugar or jaggery powder- 1 cup & Refined oil-1/2 cup
  • Boiled milk-1 cup & Baking powder-3/4 tsp
  • Baking soda-1/4 tsp & Dry fruits or tutti-frutti
  • Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper Tray

Directions

 

  • Mix Gulab Jamun mix, maida, powdered sugar, and refined oil in a bowl without lumps.
  • Add cold milk to it gradually and mix. Now add baking powder and baking soda and mix well to form a smooth batter.
  • Line a baking pan with Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper Tray. Transfer the batter to it, tap well.
  • Garnish with dry fruits or tutti-frutti.
  • Preheat a vessel with salt in it. Now place the cake on the wire stand, cover, and bake the cake for 40 minutes.
  • Check with a toothpick—a clean toothpick means a perfectly baked cake. Unmold it after it has completely cooled. Cut it into pieces.
