Whole Wheat Buns

About the Recipe

Whole wheat flour, yeast, and water are used to make delectable, soft buns. Typical burger buns made of whole wheat. This is a wheat bun without eggs. You may use this bun to make any kind of burger by stuffing it with patties of your choice. Since Oddy Ecobake was used to line the baking sheet, which provides the essential greasing to your burger buns, the burger bun was baked perfectly and non-stickily. They are safe to use in an oven or on a stove because they are heat-resistant.

Ingredients

 

  • Wheat Flour-3 cups & Warm Water-1 cup
  • Sugar-2 tbsp & Dry Yeast-2 tsp
  • Salt-2 tsp & Milk-½ cup
  • Butter melted-3 tbsp & Sesame seeds or pumpkin seeds-1 tbsp
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Mix together milk with little sugar and yeast in a bowl to activate the yeast.
  • Take wheat flour in a mixer bowl. Add in salt and mix well. Add in yeast water, milk, melted butter and knead for 10 mins. T

  • Now divide the dough into equal portion and shape into a smooth ball. Place on a baking tray lined with Oddy Ecobake and flatten each dough ball.
  • Once the buns are shaped. Cover and let it rise for another 30 to 45 mins. Preheat oven to 200 degree C during last minutes of rising.
  • Brush top with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 17 mins. Remove and brush top with melted butter. Cool this for 10 mins and serve.
