Yellow Gravy Premix

About the Recipe

Cooking restaurant-style gravy and curry is now possible at home. This Yellow Gravy Premix will make the gravy rich in thickness. You can store this in the refrigerator for at least 4-5 months. To store for a longer time, use Oddy Uniwraps. It locks moisture and keeps foods, powders, and leftover food fresh.

Ingredients

 

  • 1/4 cup Cashew, 2 tbsp Melon seeds, 1 tbsp Sesame,
  • 1 tbsp Poppy seeds, 4 Cloves, 7 Black pepper,
  • 1 inch Cinnamon, 4 Green cardamom, 1/8 inch Nutmeg
  • 1/2 Star anise, 1 Bay leaf, 1/2 inch Dry Ginger,
  • 2 tbsp Onion powder, 2 tsp Garlic powder, 1 tbsp Tomato powder
  • 3 tsp Green chilli powder, 1/2 tbsp Red chilli powder,
  • 1 tbsp Garam masala, 1 tbsp Kitchen king masala,
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder, 2 tbsp Coriander powder,
  • 1 tsp Turmeric, 1/8 tsp Citric acid, 3 tbsp Milk powder
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp Corn flour, 1 & 1/2 tsp Salt, 2 tsp Sugar,
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp Oil, 1 & 1/2 tsp Kasuri Methi, Oddy Uniwraps

Directions

 

  • Take a pan. Dry roast cashew, sesame and melon seeds, poppy seeds. Keep aside.
  • Dry roast cloves, black pepper, cinnamon, green cardamom, nutmeg, star anise, bay leaf. Keep aside.
  • Take a mixture jar. Add all the roasted ingredients into it. And make a fine powder.
  • Add all the remaining ingredients into same mixture jar. And grind all the ingredients together into fine powder.
  • Premix will be ready. Take a pan. Add oil into pan.
  • Add above powder into pan. Add kasuri methi. And roast it at low flame for 4-5 min. Yellow gravy premix will be ready to use.
  • Store the Yellow Gravy Premix in Oddy Uniwraps in an air tight container. It can be further refrigerated and used for 4-5 months.
