2 in 1 Sponge Cake

About the Recipe

Try this 2-in-1 sponge cake with two flavors. It consists of vanilla and chocolate sponge cake. Oddy Ecobake aids in baking the cake in perfect shape, and there is no need for additional cleanup. It also aids in demolding the cake easily.

Ingredients

Egg - 1 & Powdered sugar - 1 cup
Milk - 1/2 cup & Maida - 1 1/4 cup
Oil - 1/4 cup & Baking powder - 1 tsp
Baking soda - 1/4 tsp & Vanilla essence - 1/4 tsp
Cocoa powder - 2 tbsp & Oddy Ecobake

Directions

Mix the wet ingredients in a bowl and sieve the dry ingredients into it. Mix everything well to prepare the cake batter. Take half the batter in a bowl and mix cocoa powder into it.
Line a mold with Oddy Ecobake and separate the mold into two halves with Oddy Ecobake as shown. Pour vanilla cake batter on one side of Oddy Ecobake and chocolate cake batter on the other.
Now slowly remove the Oddy Ecobake from the cake mold. Slightly mix the two batters with a toothpick. Bake the cake for 35 minutes in a preheated vessel. Once the cake is baked and cooled, cut it into pieces and enjoy.
