Surprise your loved ones with this special bento box cake. You will be amazed to see their reaction and how much they loved this cake. We made this cake in a heart shape to make it even closer to their hearts. Ecobake helps in getting the perfect shape for your cake without any greasing and placing it in the box conveniently.

Ingredients

Powdered sugar – 3 tbsp & Water – 2 tbsp
Oil – 1 tbsp & Pineapple essence – ½ tsp
Maida – ¼ cup & Baking powder – ¼ tsp
Baking soda – 3 pinches & Vinegar – ¼ tsp
Whipping cream – ½ cup & Pineapple crush
Magic red and yellow food gel
Silver balls and Golden sprinkles

Directions

Prepare the cake batter by mixing the wet ingredients in a bowl and sieving through the dry ingredients. Transfer the cake batter into a small flat-bottomed vessel lined with Ecobake cooking paper.
Bake the cake for 15 to 20 minutes in a preheated pressure cooker without a gasket. Once the cake is baked and cooled, divide it into 3 equal parts.
Place the first layer of the cake sponge on a cake board and soak it with sugar syrup. Apply whipping cream to the first layer and apply pineapple crush to it and spread well.
Place the second layer and repeat the same steps. Place the third layer, apply sugar syrup and frost the cake completely. Smoothen the cake frosting with a spatula.
Cut the cake in a V-shape using a knife and place the cut parts on the top of the cake. Make a deep cut in the middle to make the cake into a heart shape and frost it again.
Decorate the cake with red cream and yellow cream as shown. Place the cake on Ecobake cooking paper and decorate the bottom of the cake with red cream. Garnish with silver balls and golden sprinkles.
