No Oven Chocolate Sponge Cake

If you want to make a quick cake without butter, oil, or eggs, then this recipe shows you how to make a quick and spongy chocolate cake on a stove. It is made in a healthier way by using wheat flour instead of maida. The cake bakes soft and spongy with the use of Oddy Ecobake, which is very convenient and user-friendly.

Ingredients

 

  • Milk-3/4 cup & Dark chocolate-1/2 cup
  • Sugar-1/3 cup & Wheat flour-3/4 cup
  • Milk powder-2 tbsp & Cocoa powder-1.5 tbsp
  • Baking powder-1 tsp & Baking soda-1/4 tsp & Vanilla eseence-1 tsp
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Boil milk, dark chocolate, and sugar in a pan until the chocolate melts completely to make chocolate sauce, and then let it cool.
  • Add all the sifted dry ingredients to a bowl, along with the cold chocolate sauce and vanilla essence, and mix thoroughly. You can add milk to it to make it softer. The smooth batter is ready.
  • Line a sauce pan with Oddy Ecobake and pour the batter into it. Spread uniformly and tap well. Place the sauce pan on a tawa, cover, and cook for 30 minutes over a low flame.
  • Remove the lid after 30 minutes and add cashews on top. Cover and bake for another 5 minutes. Demould when completely cooled.
  • The soft and spongy chocolate cake is made without butter, oil, or eggs.
