Protein Granola Bars

About the Recipe

Energy bars or granola bars are delicious and nutritious snack bars made up of assorted wholesome ingredients like whole grain cereals, oats, granola, quinoa, almonds and other nuts, seeds, dried fruits, and fruits. These bars were famous as “sports bars” or “protein bars” and catered mainly to athletes and trainers. The granola bars are perfectly baked without sticking to the baking tray by using Oddy Ecobake, which is non-sticky and reusable.

Ingredients

 

  • Oats (Rolled)-250 g & Walnuts-150g
  • Dates-250 g & Flax seeds-50 g
  • Cashews-250 g & Almonds-250 g
  • Butter (salted) -20 g & Honey-100 ml
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Chop all the nuts and grind or chop the dates. Dry roast oats on a low flame for 3–4 minutes until they become fragrant.
  • Dry roast the nuts on a low flame for 3–4 minutes. Transfer them into a bowl and add chopped or ground dates.
  • Then add butter and honey to it and mix well until they mix together to form granola.
  • Line a baking tray or steel plate with Oddy Ecobake. Transfer the prepared granola to it, press it, and spread it uniformly.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius in a preheated oven. Alternatively, you can cook it in a closed, preheated kadhai for 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove it from the oven and let it cool completely. Demould and cut into pieces using a sharp knife. The tasty and healthy granola bars are ready.
