Til Mawa Chikki

In India, this Mawa til chikki is a well-liked wintertime sweet treat. You only need a few essential ingredients to make this chikki, and it is simple to prepare. You may spread and set the chikki using the Oddy Ecobake without greasing the mould. Therefore, no additional cleanup is required.

Ingredients

 

  • Roasted Peanuts - 1 cup & Til - 1/2 cup
  • Mawa - 250 gm & Crushed khadi sikar - 3/4 cup
  • Pumpkin seeds - 2 tbsp & Magajtari - 2 tbsp
  • Ghee - 2 tsp & Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Roast and peel peanuts. Roast white sesame seeds or til in a kadai. Grind them to a coarse powder in a mixer jar.
  • Crush khadar sikar using a mortar and pestle. Heat ghee in a pan. Add mawa to it and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame.
  • Once it thickens and starts leaving the pan, add til powder and peanut powder to the mawa and mix well. After some time, add pumpkin seeds and mahajgari to the mixture and combine well.
  • Transfer the mixture to the Oddy Ecobake and spread well. Once the mixture is set, cut it into small bars. Your til mawa chikkis are finished!
