How To Make Junnu At Home Without Colostrum Milk?

Junnu is a milk pudding prepared with the colostrum milk of cow. But today we are going to make this junnu with agar agar. Ecobake helps in giving perfect shape to your junnu without sticking to the mould.

Ingredients

 

  • Agar Agar grass – 10gm
  • Milk – ¾ litre
  • Sugar – 1 Cup

Directions

 

  • Take 10 gm of agar agar grass. Cut it into small pieces and keep them in a bowl. Pour water into the bowl till the grass is completely immersed and let it soak for some time.
  • Boil ¾ litre of milk and add soaked agar agar grass into it. Let it dissolve and add 1 cup of sugar to the milk.
  • Once the sugar is dissolved in the milk, switch off the stove and transfer it to a cake mould lined with Ecobake cooking paper.
  • Leave the milk inside the mould for 2 hours till the junnu is formed. You can cut this into Junnu or milk pudding into cubes, serve them and enjoy.
  • You can also place the mould in the fridge for the Junnu to form quickly. This milk pudding or Junnu can be stored in the fridge for 4 days.
