Quick Chocolate Bento Suji Cake

Who doesn’t love cake, especially when there is a special occasion. Cakes can light up any party and can make people happy to cores. However, sometimes making a cake at home can be a time taking procedure. Here we bring you an easy suji cake recipe that you can make within half-hour.

Ingredients

 

  • Suji - 1/2 Cup
  • Sugar - 1/4 Cup
  • Fresh Curd - 1/4 Cup
  • Oil - 2 Tbsp
  • Cocoa Powder - 1Tbsp
  • Milk - 1/3 Cup
  • Brown Oddy Ecobake - 1 Sheet
  • Dark Chocolate - 1/2 cup
  • Colourful Sprinkles - 1/2
  • Praline - handful

Directions

 

  • Take a mixer jar and add 1/2 cup of suji along with 1/4 cup of sugar. Now, grind both of them in a fine powder.
  • Add 1/4 cup of fresh curd to the mixture and 2 tbsp of oil. Now, add 1 tbsp of cocoa powder, and 1/3 cup of milk and switch on the ground for a minute.
  • Transfer the paste to a bowl and smoothen the batter.
  • Now, take the Brown Oddy Ecobake sheet and a small steel bowl. Place the Brown oddy ecobake sheet at the corners and at the bottom of the steel bowl.
  • Add 1 tbsp of milk to the chocolate batter and mix it well. Now, add 1/2 tsp of vanilla essence, 1/2 tsp of baking powder, and a pinch of milk. Mix the entire batter well. Add the batter to the steel container.
  • Now, a large container and place a wire stand inside it. Preheat the vessel for 5 minutes and remove the lid.
  • Place the steel bowl, which had the batter in it on the top of the wire stand and cover the lid. Cooking the batter for 25 minutes.
  • Take 1/2 cup of dark chocolate and pour 3 tbsp of hot milk. Mix both the ingredients with a spoon till the time chocolate melts completely.
  • Now, demould the cake and let it cool completely. Remove the Oddy Ecobake sheet and slice the upper layer of the cake.
  • Pour the chocolate on the top and spread it uniformly.
  • To enhance the look of the cake, add some colourful sprinkles on top of it and garnish the cake with praline.
