Sabudana Cheela Recipe

Sabudana is healthy and is mainly eaten for vrats and fasts. This sabudana cheela is easy and healthy as well. While rolling the cheela use Oddy Ecobake, it helps in non-sticky cheela. It is convenient to use and made from eco-friendly ingredients and is grease proof.

Ingredients

 

  • 1 cup Sabudane soaked for 4-5 hours,
  • 1 medium-sized potato (grated or smashed),
  • 1-2 green chili finely chopped,
  • 1-inch grated ginger, finely chopped curry leaves, or coriander leaves,
  • 1 cup roasted groundnut powder, salt as required,
  • jeera powder (roasted), ½ half lime juice
  • 2 tbsp singhare aata, little oil to coat the dough,
  • Oddy Ecobake, ghee or oil to fry.

Directions

 

  • In a bowl take Sabudane (soaked for 4-5 hours), 1 medium-sized potato (grated or smashed), 1-2 green chili finely chopped. 1-inch grated ginger.
  • Add finely chopped curry leaves, or coriander leaves, 1 cup roasted groundnut powder, salt as required, jeera powder (roasted), ½ half lime juice.
  • Add 2 tbsp singhare aata. Mix it well and make a soft dough. Add little oil to coat the dough. Make small balls of dough.
  • Take 2 sheets of Oddy Ecobake. Place one on the tabletop, keep the dough (gently flatten it), and place another sheet of Oddy Ecobake.
  • Roll out the dough into a small chapati. Gently place it on the tava or pan with the sheet facing upwards.
  • Remove sheet slowly. Appy ghee or oil and fry on both sides till golden brown. Serve hot with curd or green chutney.
