Tender coconut ice cream

About the Recipe

Try this heavenly delicious tender coconut ice-cream at home. This recipe is so easy to make and very appetizing to relish. Oddy uniwraps prevents the formation of ice crystals and helps to make the texture of the ice-cream perfect.

  • 1.25 cup thick / full fat milk
  • 0.75-1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • Flesh of 2-3 tender coconuts
  • 3/4th cup milk powder
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • Baking soda 1 pinch



  • In a kadai add milk, sugar, corn flour, milk powder and mix well without any lumps.
  • Keep the kadai on gas stove and let the mixture boil. Add baking soda and stir again. Keep on stirring to avoid any lumps. Once thickens remove from heat and let it cool completely. In a bowl take whipping cream and with the help of beater, whip it nicely. Add the ice cream mixture and beat it again.
  • In a mixer jar blend the tender coconut into a fine paste and add it to our ice cream mixture. Beat it once again. Add a few chopped pieces of tender coconut and give it a stir. Our ice cream mixture is ready.
  • Now transfer the ice cream mixture in a container. Layer oddy uniwraps paper foil on top of the container. This will prevent the formation of ice crystals. Oddy uniwraps is also eco- friendly and reusable.
  • Keep it in the freezer for 8 hours. Remove once the ice -cream is set and serve it as a dessert after meals.
