Thandai Mithai

About the Recipe

Thandai mithai is made with a combination of dry fruits. Even though this recipe is generally made for Holi festival, it can also be served on any other occasion. Ecobake helps in getting the perfect mithai without any greasing and no need for cleaning afterward.

Ingredients

 

  • Kaju -1/4 cup & badam- 1/4 cup
  • Pista- 1 tbsp & melon seeds - 2 tbsp
  • Poppy seeds -1 tbsp & Rose petals - 2 tbsp
  • Fennel seeds- 1/2tsp & cardamom -4
  • mishri- 3/4cup & makhana- 1/4cup
  • Pepper corn -1/2 tsp & desiccated coconut -1cup
  • milk powder -1 cup & saffron milk-1/4cup
  • Silver wark & Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • On a plate, take all the dry ingredients except mishri, dry coconut and milk powder to prepare thandai. Grind this to make fine powder.
  • Now take mishri and grind this separately.Mix thandai masala and mishri together. To enhance the flavour, we will now add dry coconut in grinded form.
  • Then add in milk powder and this way you can make instant thandai masala. Just mix it with water and you get a glass of thandai.
  • Add saffron milk and mix it well. This way, you will get dough like consistency. Take a sheet of Oddy Ecobake and roll out the dough as shown in the video.
  • You can give it any desired shape. Keep it in the fridge for about half an hour.
  • Once it is set. cover it with silver wark and cut it in slices as shown.
  • Your delicious thandai mithai is ready to eat.
